Why does God allow Suffering

Did you say that your God is a good God?
And why does He allow people to suffer?
So many have to suffer pain, sickness and poverty.
You also said that your God is all powerful.
Why doesn't He have pity on these people
And take away their suffering?

Looks like you know our God quite well
Indeed He is a good and merciful God
He is the God of Love and He really cares
His heart aches when He sees His people suffer

We believe that our God is with us
He goes through with us the rejection and the pain
No choice, He has to let mankind experience it first han
In order that they may learn and grow as He planned

Before a young child could make his first step
The daddy has to reluctantly let go of his hands
He knows the child may fall but he needs to learn to stand up
He needs to be on his own one day

This is our Father in Heaven
We need to learn to grow in our ways
We may trip and fall, but
We are assured that God is always there for us

Telling somebody what to do is easy
But how many would listen and follow?
God gives us a Bible, teaching us the ways of God
But how many of us could follow closely?

The temptation of this world is too real
God has to let go His hands
A lesson learnt first hand could be painful
But God still allows it if we chose to

One thing for sure: God will never leave us
In times such as these
He knows our limit and
He will not allow it beyond what we can bear

What a good and caring God we have
We may choose to detour and be naughty at times
Do you know that He is still watching us closely
Giving us advice and sending us help when there is a need

Many of us are not aware of this during a flood (danger)
A boat could be waiting just outside our door
Many of us think that God will put us into the boat
But we need to make the first move of opening the door and jumping into the boat!

Do you want to belong to God's family?
You know that you will be protected and taken care of?
God will be on your side, watching over you
He will take you out from trouble when you trust and call on Him

In Desperation

When life is threatened with a deadly disease
And Doctors' Reports unanimously confirmed
The mind is fed with these negative reports
Which gives birth to 'named' symptoms in the body

Who is in control?
Did you say that God is?

This is indeed a significant storm in life 
Which comes with no warning
When it happens, it is not a time to point the fingers
But rather, a quiet time with God for His guidance 

Yes, God is in control
He has done miraculous signs and wonders
He is still doing it
He is the same, yesterday, today and forever

Do not take men for their words because they are temporal 
But not God Almighty, He is the Eternal God
No evil can successfully stand against Him
He is in control - the creator of Heaven and Earth

Trust in the Lord and His Words
Jesus has come that we can have abundant life
And by His stripes, we are healed of all diseases
Call on Him, we children of God, He will hear us

His mercy and love endures forever
Stand on His promises because God does not lie
He will not allow His words come back to Him void
But it shall accomplish what it pleases Him

God is worthy of all praise
All honor and praise belongs to our God
Look to Him - He is the God who hears our cries
You can certainly count on Him

To get connected to God, first of all
We need to humble ourselves and surrender to Him
Trusting Him in our situation
Praising Him, giving honor and glory to Him

My God, My God, Where are you

Life on earth is not always smooth sailing
There are ups and downs as we journey on
We will bump right into it when we are too close
At times we know we have been led to safety

If there is God 
Why doesn't he put me on a smooth road?
If He is a good God
Why does He allow me to go through the storms?
Does He really care for us?

Indeed, Our God Almighty cares
He gave up His Son because of His abundant love for us
He wants to reconcile us back to Him
So that we can call Him Abba Father 

His heart aches when we bump into danger
He stretches out His hands to lift us when we tripped
We are not aware that He is there all the time
Watching us, affectionately wrapping His arms around us

God is no tyranny, He allows us to have our way
Do you realise the pain He is experiencing 
When we continuously refuse to hold His outstretched hands
Not willing to pause and think about this ever loving God

God has prepared the way for us to come to Him
He is the way, the truth and the life
If we draw near to Him, He will come even closer to us
Trust Him, believe that He is a great God

He will walk beside you and calm the storms
No danger shall come near us because God is with us
He will lift us up if we should trip and fall
He will never leave us nor forsake us

Do you want to know this Great God?
Just believe and confess with your mouth
Knowing that you are welcomed into God's family
Let Him be your God, just as He is mine, amen

WHO IS BEHIND ALL THESE?

Looking out from the window of an aeroplane:  

•   Amazed that we are flying in this endless stretch of light blue sky 
•   Who put the sun, the moon in their places among these floating cloud? 
•   Who cares for the birds flying in the air, way below our eyes could see?
•   He is the Almighty God who created the Heaven and the Earth  
•   For as high as the Heavens is above the Earth so great is His love for us  
•   As far as the East is to the West He readily forgives our sins   

Looking out from the window of the Cruise Ship:
   

•    Overwhelmed by the wide stretch of deep blue sea that knows no depth
•    Who is He that calms the sea, even the wind and the storm listen to Him?  
•    Who put the fish in the sea that we can freely feed on ?  
•    God gives wisdom to the engineers to enable the ship to remain afloat   
•    He is faithful and He will never leave us nor forsake us   
•    He wants to give us His best but the choice is ours to accept   

Looking out from the Observation Deck:
   

•    Astonished with the architecture of the gigantic skyscrapers and bridges   
•    Nestling in front of the rolling hills, backed by the mountains far behind    
•    Look at those colorful flower beds framed with healthy plants and bushes 
•    Ever wonder who gives rain to these trees and the plants that surround us?
•    People in the streets, in their cars and inside these buildings   
•    Ever wonder who cares for these people who are forever rushing and chasing?   

Looking down from Heaven:
   

•    I am the God, the Creator and the Engineer of the Universe  
•    I care for the birds in the air and the fishes in the sea   
•    No creatures in the land is left out, not even the lilies in the field   
•    How much more I care for you whom I call to be my very own  
•    I gave my one and only son, Jesus, just to reconcile you back to me,   
•    To lavish on you my Love. I want to give you a life full of hope, love and joy.  
•    I am waiting with open arms. The Heaven will rejoice if you accept me! Come..... 

"I Do Good, Why Can't I Go Heaven?"

I have been doing good all my life.   
I feed the poor, 
I care for the orphans and 
I help the widows and the aged.

Why can't I go Heaven?

Heaven is the home of God.
God only welcome His children to stay with Him.
So, one need to be His child in order to join Him in Heaven.
He gladly receive ALL who are willing to be His children.

How can I become a child of God?

It is simple but it is true:
Simply believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God
That He has come to the earth to redeem us.
He was crucified, buried and rose again on the third day.

Just believe in your heart and
Say it with your mouth:
That you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord & Saviour,
Heaven will rejoice because of you coming home!

Are you ready?

"I Do Not Know God. Does He care for me?"

Of course He cares!

He loves you before you know Him.



Why am I so sure?

Let me tell you my testimony ....

     When I was younger, I did not know God
     When difficulties and problems came my way, 
     I believed it was my fate
     When problems solved, 
     I thought I was lucky

     I had frozen shoulder & pain in my left arm for about a year.
     So painful that I could not move my arms forward or backward.
     Doctors gave me pain killers & told me to bear with it.
     I had to endure the pain as nothing much could be done. 
     I applied heat rub & pasted plasters to relieve the pain temporary.

     In the year 2004, on one fine evening
     God brought me into His presence of Jesus Heals Rally.
     Knowing nothing about spiritual healing,
     I fell on the floor when a prayer was said.
     I could feel heat in my left shoulders moving towards the fingers.
     

    When I got up from the floor,

     No more pain!

     I could freely move my left arm! 

      See, I was like you, did not know God
     but He still loves me unconditionally
     He healed me & brought me out of my difficulties
     He works in His own way behind the scene 
     All because He cares for you and me.
     
      
Be assured that God loves you and 
He cares for you even you do not know Him.

"How can I leave my hubby in hell while I enjoy myself in Heaven?"

"I can't leave my hubby in hell while I enjoy myself in Heaven!  I would rather be with him and suffer together!"

1) Are you sure he is in hell?
     At any point of his life on earth, even at the last moment,
     he could have met a Christian who told him about the good news.
     He could have given his life to God, 
     but have not the time & opportunity to tell you!
     So, you can't be sure that he is in hell, can you?
     
2) Even if he is in hell:
     Are you sure he wants you to suffer with him there?
     If he loves you very much, and having experienced the suffering,
     He would definitely want to stop you from meeting him there!
     He would be sorry to see you joining him in eternal torment!
     So, you better make a decision that he would be thankful.
