A happy family

Do you see the silver lining clouds standing vividly in the blue Sky?
The Sun gladly shinning forth..
Birds in the air, flying freely and enjoying the soothing breeze

On this vast plain, the abundance is clearly portrayed
Fruit trees bearing fruits bountifully
Shrubs, plants and flowers are well scattered around
Not forgetting the lovely butterflies...

"We love outing...
Daddy, mummy, titi and I.
Titi wears his favourite blue t-shirt
We are a happy family."

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?

I know who I am
I am a child of God
He loves me very much
He is with me all the times
He is for me.

Do you know who you are?
You are God's creation, created in His own image
He loves you and He wants you to live life abundantly
He promise to be with you and will never leave you
He is always for you so no one can successfully stand against you.

Do you want to know your God?

The Little Ones

Expression Of Love

These are my 2 lovely grandchildren
Hayley and Ethan
As they are nurtured in love
They grow in appreciation of those around them
and loving each other

KNOWING HIM

Knowing Him, is to THANK HIM

Looking at "the sacrifice He has done for us,
giving up His one and only son, Jesus Christ,
bearing all our sins, suffered pain & rejection
and finally died a cruel death on the cross"

This is done so that we the sinners
can be reconciled back to Him.
His abundant love for us is immeasurable
His tender mercies have made us righteous before Him
How can we not be grateful and thank Him?

Knowing Him, is to ACCEPT HIM
His grace has made us righteous before Him again
It is finished, nothing more we can do or add but
to accept Him as our Lord and Saviour.

There will be rejoicing in heaven when we
believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God,
and we accept Him as our Lord & Saviour
who rose again on the 3rd day.
How can we not accept Him when
everything was done for us?

Knowing Him, is to FOLLOW HIM
When Jesus rose to Heaven
and seated at the right hand of God
He continue to interceed for us
The Holy Spirit dwells in us
to lead and guide us as we journey on earth
The Word of God will nourish our spiritual life
and remind us of the promises of God
He will never leave us nor forsake us
He will pick us up when we fall, ever so forgiving

We can put our whole trust in Him
God knows what we need before we even ask Him!
He call us His own and He cares for us
He wants to pour out His blessings on us
He gives us a hope and a future
Come follow Him, the God of Love

Knowing Him, is to MAKE HIM KNOWN
This is the Great Commision
We have tasted the goodness of God
Let us share with others who are yet to know Him
God's kingdom is without bound
He welcomes all who readily come to Him in simple faith
He loves all, including those who do not know Him
Help to bring them to the knowledge of God
Let us pray.

but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God."

Yes, all good things come down to us from Heaven.

WHO IS GOD?

God is the Creator of heaven and earth. He created man in His own image to enjoy His creation, and to have dominion over the fowls in the air, the fish in the sea and the animals on the earth. His love for mankind is genuine. Even when Adam & Eve (the first man and women created by Him) sinned against Him, He gave His one and only son to pay the penalty of sin to die a cruel death on the cross in order to reconcile us back to him! He readily remove our transgressions, and gladly take us back as His son when we believe in Him accepted Him as our Lord and Saviour. This is our God.

God is love. He love mankind before we even know Him. He is great and powerful and yet He come down from Heaven to live among us. His intention is none other than to redeem us, and teach us the way to live in this world. While on earth, He went through trials just as we do, but He still went about doing good, just as He tell us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and do good to those who hate us! Not easy, but He promise to be with us at all times! We may plan our ways, but it is God who guide our path if we trust Him and have faith in Him.

God is our Father in Heaven. When those who are sinful and evil can give good things to their children, how much more our Father in Heaven will give good things to us if we ask of Him. He looks down from heaven, and his watchful eyes are on us every day, ever ready to pour out his blessings on us. All good things come down to us from Him. He is a lover of our soul. As high as the heavens is above the earth, so great is His love for us. As far as east is to the west, He is both faithful and just to remove our transgressions. A thousand may fall on our side, and ten thousand on our right hand, none will come near us for He is with us. God, the one who is inside us is greater than those beside us, so what have us to fear? Our Almighty God is strong. He will protect us and pick us up if we should trip. Come to our father. He welcome you with open arms, he forgive all your sins and He will remember your sins no more if you will accept Him and call out to Him. He is ever so forgiving. He never give up on us though we may be on a detour, wondering everywhere. Quietly, He beckens us, and patiently awaits our return. He is such a good God.

A Short Holiday in Hong Kong

Hong Kong is a familiar city to most of us, with lots of shopping & eating. Well, to our little 6 & 3 year old grandchildren, it means a city of excitement & fun.

The fun began at Changi Airport! The sleepy Ethan & the gentle Hayley, grabbing their bolsters (which they called bear-bear), told us that they were sleepy because mummy woke them up very early.  It was a chore to carry them, so we agreed to push them on the baggage trolley! It was fun to be pushed around in such a big open space! Soon their laughter filled the checkin counter.

The first ride at Ocean Park was that familiar Merry-go-round. It was fun to ride by themselves, with kung2 and mama riding next to them while daddy & mummy looking and cheering them. Thinking that the Frog Hopper was also like the Merry-go-round, moving up and down only, the excited Ethan and Hayley rushed to queue. As they were lifted up, with mummy holding their hands, we could see Ethan was shocked because of the height he is moving. As he joined in our deafening cheers and shouts, he was able to overcome the fear! He attempted many times, of course with an accompanying adult. The rest of the morning was spent at the Whiskers Harbour Playground, climbing and crawling in the hot sun. Once in awhile they would enter the Bouncer House, jumping up and down, purposely knocking at the cushioned walls!

Lunch was delicious - at the Grand Aquarium Restaurant! After a whole morning of exercise & also, looking forward to more fun, the children quickly finished their food! Though reluctant to go toilets most of the time, Hayley voluntarily took my hand and brought  me to the toilets in case I should get lost on the way??  Such loving gestures......Indeed, she held my hand a little while but she had held my heart a life time! Thank you Lord for your blessing of these 2 lovely grandchildren.

At the Disneyland, they enjoyed the rides like 'It's a small world", "Winnie the Pooh", "The Doggie ride". Looking at mom & kung2 riding down the water splash was fun. Ethan doesn't like the cartoon characters because "got people inside!" He took photo with the robot Buzz Lityear. He even worried "where can we eat? Got pluto inside the restaurant!" "No, don't want to go near Minnie!" On the last day in Disneyland, he managed to take a photo with Cinderella, who hugged both of them at the Children Activity Room in the Disneyland Hotel!

GOD ALWAYS HAS AN ANSWER

The only survivor of a shipwreck
was washed up on a small, uninhabited island.

He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him,
and every day he scanned the horizon for help,
but none seemed forthcoming.

Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut
out of driftwood to protect him from the elements,
and to store his few possessions.

But then one day, after scavenging for food,
he arrived home to find his little hut in flames,
the smoke rolling up to the sky.

The worst had happened; everything was lost.
He was stunned with grief and anger.
"God, how could you do this to me!" he cried.

Early the next day, however, he was awakened
by the sound of a ship that was approaching the island.
It had come to rescue him.

"How did you know I was here?"
asked the weary man of his rescuers.

"We saw your smoke signal," they replied.

It is easy to get discouraged when things are going bad.
But we shouldn't lose heart, because God is at work in our lives,
even in the midst of pain and suffering.

Remember, next time your little hut is burning to the ground
it just may be a smoke signal that summons the grace of God.

For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves,
God has a positive answer.

You say: "I'm too tired"
God says: I will give you rest (Matthew 11:28-30)

You say: "Nobody really loves me"
God says: I love you (John 3:16 & John 3:34)

You say: "I can't go on"
God says: My grace is sufficient (II Corinthians 12:9 & Psalm 91:15)

You say: "I can't figure things out"
God says: I will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6)

You say: "I can't do it"
God says: You can do all things (Philippians 4:13)

You say: "I'm not able"
God says: I am able (II Corinthians 9:8)

You say: "It's not worth it"
God says: It will be worth it (Roman 8:28)

You say: "I can't forgive myself"
God says: I Forgive you (I John 1:9 & Romans 8:1)

You say: "I'm poor"
God says: I will supply all your needs (Philippians 4:19)

You say: "I'm afraid"
God says: I have not given you a spirit of fear (II Timothy 1:7)

You say: "I'm always worried and frustrated"
God says: Cast all your cares on ME (I Peter 5:7)

DO I KNOW YOU ?

Born in 1951, I completed my secondary education in Ave Maria Convent, Ipoh. I went to St. Michael's Institution to do STPM. And that's it, my education ended here.

I went teaching in Ave Maria Convent, Ipoh and met my Mister Right, Foong Daw Kwong. We were married in 1974. He was then the first and only male teacher in Ave Maria Convent! The same year, I was transferred to Sam Tet Secondary School, Ipoh. I love teaching. Teaching was interesting and rewarding, especially you see students succeed in their career. I would meet my students, boys & girls, now and again, and they gladly called me 'TEACHER'! While others, still called me "Miss Ang"

Working in the business world is challenging. I have grown together with the Company. My dad started the electrical business: Kee Hing Electric Sdn Bhd, at Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh. Now, most of us in the family are striving hard to maintain the good name that has been bestowed on the family.
